Our Story
We started in a cramped apartment kitchen in 2019, watching my co-founder Julia struggle through meal prep after her second twelve-hour shift that week. She was a pediatric nurse, exhausted, trying to chop vegetables for the week ahead with a dull knife on a wobbly cutting board. Tears from the onions mixed with tears of pure frustration. That's when it hit us: the people who need healthy, home-cooked meals the most—the busy professionals, the tired parents, the overworked caregivers—are the ones with the least time and energy to prepare them.
We spent the next eight months testing twenty-three different chopper designs in real kitchens with real people. Not professional chefs. Actual busy humans who needed to get dinner on the table between a toddler's meltdown and a work email. We learned that fancy gadgets with twelve attachments just gather dust. What people actually wanted was something that worked immediately, cleaned up fast, and didn't require a YouTube tutorial.
Our mission is straightforward: we're here to cut the friction out of healthy eating. We know that eating well shouldn't require an extra hour of your day or advanced knife skills. When meal prep takes less time and effort, people cook more. When people cook more, they eat better. When they eat better, everything else gets a little easier. We're not trying to turn anyone into a celebrity chef—we're just trying to make Wednesday night dinner less of a battle.
Here's what makes our chopper different: we obsessed over the blade geometry until we got it right. The stainless steel blades are positioned at precise 23-degree angles, which means you get clean cuts through everything from soft tomatoes to dense sweet potatoes with one press. No multiple chops. No mashing. The container catches everything with measurement marks already visible, so you can prep exact portions without dirtying measuring cups. And the whole thing disassembles and clicks back together in under fifteen seconds, which means it actually gets used instead of banished to the back of the cabinet.
We're not here to sell you another kitchen gadget. We're here to give you thirty minutes of your evening back.
